Build your internal platforms to free up your development teams
Clarity
Knowing where you stand and where to go over the next six months
Get a clear overview of your technical maturity, a prioritised roadmap and a platform ROI calculation: a concise deliverable and a strategy that can be implemented over six months.
Autonomy
Empower your development teams to work independently
Your developers will no longer need to rely on infrastructure tickets to deploy, test or provision an environment. Golden Paths set out the default procedures without stifling initiative. Your teams will work faster, without friction and without having to find workarounds.
Continuity
A partner with expertise in coding and production
We design your platforms with a thorough understanding of the code that runs on them, because we write that code too. There’s no disconnect between the platform and real-world use cases: what we build is designed to stand the test of time in production.
A successful internal platform is one that has satisfied users, and those users are your developers.
The cornerstones of our expertise in platform engineering
- Technical maturity audit and assessment
We analyse your methods, technology stack, pipelines and security posture to identify opportunities for standardisation and optimisation. Diagnosis is best carried out in advance, not in the midst of an incident. We deliver a prioritised roadmap that can be reviewed in an hour and implemented over six months.
- Internal Developer Platform and Golden Paths
We treat the developer experience as an internal product: with a lifecycle, a backlog and identified users. We use Backstage when the context warrants it, and lighter alternatives when Backstage would be overkill. We set out the standard routes without ruling out alternative paths.
- GitOps with ArgoCD
We manage your application deployments from Git using the App-of-Apps pattern with ArgoCD. We complement the pipeline with Helm, Kustomize, External Secrets and cert-manager, depending on the context. Every change is traceable, auditable and reversible. The unified control plane eliminates untraceable manual interventions.
- Infrastructure as Code Terraform and OpenTofu
We standardise your infrastructure using Terraform and OpenTofu, and use Ansible to handle configuration tasks beyond the immutable infrastructure. We maintain our modules so they are portable across cloud platforms, organised by platform: AWS, Azure, GCP or Scaleway, depending on your sovereignty requirements.
- CI/CD and delivery pipelines industrialisation
We build your pipelines on GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or Concourse, depending on your specific context. We integrate quality assurance (TFSec, TerraScan, Trivy, SAST), artefact signing, promotion and staged deployment. We treat the delivery pipeline as a fully-fledged internal product in its own right, with its own users, backlog and lifecycle.
- AI in delivery practice
We use Claude Code, Gemini CLI and MCP on a daily basis to speed up migrations, version upgrades and incident investigations. What we refer to internally as ‘Vibe Coding’ is simply another tool in our stack, not a sales pitch.

At Kaliop, our cloud expertise isn’t a separate department: it’s a layer we’ve built to support our development teams. By the time we started offering it as a service, we were already just as good as those for whom it’s their sole focus.
This is the foundation of our expertise in platform engineering: we know what the platform is meant to do because we also write the application code that runs on it. This approach is the natural evolution of a team that knows what it is deploying because it has also written it.
