The challengeEngage users in a mobile experience that is fluid and consistent with the web ecosystem
Following the redesign of its web digital ecosystem, Interflora wanted to modernise its mobile application in order to offer an experience that lives up to the brand’s promise. The previous version, based on simple web views, did not allow the full potential of mobile to be leveraged in terms of speed, usability and customer engagement. The challenge was twofold: to rebuild a high-performance application in synergy with the existing technical foundation, while keeping timelines and budget under control.
We relaunched the mobile application from scratch using React Native, in order to deliver a genuine user experience. The group’s technical architecture (composable / MACH) enabled us to move quickly while ensuring technical and functional consistency with the website. In four months, we delivered a modern application focused on usage and customer loyalty.

A composable architecture serving speed, consistency and business value
The Interflora mobile application was redesigned to offer a smooth and intuitive experience, fully leveraging the strengths of mobile: simplified navigation, push notifications and personalised reminders, such as birthdays or upcoming events. The application relies on existing APIs for the checkout process and account management, while introducing a new payment implementation specifically adapted to mobile usage. Initially deployed in France, the application now forms the foundation of a model that can be replicated internationally, by leveraging shared architectures across the different backends.
Kaliop supported Interflora in defining the scope of the MVP and in designing the mobile application through product scoping and design workshops to establish a clear and achievable objective. The project team adopted a product-oriented approach and agile governance, enabling delivery within four months thanks to close coordination between the web and mobile squads to share APIs and components. This synergy ensured both functional and technical consistency with the e-commerce platform, while meeting time and resource constraints.
Thanks to the composable / MACH architecture implemented during the web project, Interflora was able to reuse numerous backend services, ensuring seamless interoperability and accelerated development.
React Native made it possible to achieve an exceptional time-to-market for an application of this scale, without compromising on quality.
Beyond the technical dimension, the project strengthened Interflora’s omnichannel strategy, making mobile a key lever for customer loyalty and engagement.
